2012 / 2013 Saskatchewan Fire Fighters Curling Assoication
Provincial Championships – Borden, SK.
The S.F.F.C.A. it’s 55th annual provincial championships at the Raddison Curling Club in Raddison, SK. This year’s provincial was captured by the Gregg Tarasoff rink. Gregg and his front end, Garmen Koch and Vern Harrison are out of the Saskatoon Fire Department, His third, Chris Haichert is out of the Swift Current Fire Department. Gregg and his rink defeated defending champions Ron Thomas in the final of the tough triple knock out draw. The Tarasoff rink represented Saskatchewan at the Canadian Fire Fighters Curling Championships in Saint John, NB. They lost their opening match and then went undefeated to bring the Gold back to Saskatchewan.
Since 2009, the teams that Sask has sent to the National competition have brought back 2 golds, 1 silver and 1 bronze
