2012 Saskatchewan Fire Fighters Curling Assoication
Provincial Championships – Regina, SK.
The S.F.F.C.A. it’s 54rd annual provincial championships at the Tartan Curling Club in Regina, SK. This year’s provincial was captured by the Kelly Salmon rink. Kelly is out of the Aberdeen Volunteer Fire Department, His third, Rick Day is out of the Regina Fire Department, Second, Ron Thomas, is out of the Saskatoon Fire Department and Lead, Tyler Harrison is out of the Wakaw Voluteer Fire Department. Kelly and his rink defeated defending champions Gregg Tarasoff in the AB final. The Salmon rink will represent Saskatchewan at the Canadian Fire Fighters Curling Championships in Truro NS – March 22nd to April 1st, 2012.
Ron Thomas has been a member and curled in the SFFCA for 34 years. This is the only time he has been on a team that has gone to Nationals – Good job Ron
